34 years as Camp Manager (or similar) in a luxury bush lodge environment Strong people management; ability to supervise staff, maintain service excellence, guest satisfaction in a highend setting Excellent English (and any relevant local languages), ability to build relationships with guests, staff, suppliers, game rangers, etc. Polishing the guest experience, attention to detail, managing all lodge operations accommodation, food & beverage, housekeeping, activities, maintenance, safety / environment Operational oversight budgeting, procurement, inventory control, scheduling, staff training & mentoring Problemsolving ability to respond to unexpected challenges (weather, guest issues, staffing shortages, logistics in remote locations) Reporting lodge management reports, guest feedback, staff performance, maintenance, safety compliance High school diploma to a degree in hospitality Leadership mindset and integrity Warm, approachable personality; personable with guests and staff alike Strong relationshipbuilder: trustworthy, reliable, able to earn respect Adaptability & resilience (remote / bush conditions) Selfmotivation, with ability to work independently and under pressure
