Job Description
Welcome & Service Assistant x 3 - Maidenhead Summary We're looking for enthusiastic and dynamic team members to play their part in our Welcome & Service Assistant team here at Cliveden. As the public face of our properties, you’ll provide a warm, friendly welcome, give information about the property, answer questions and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit during our busy winter visitor operation. All Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence as this role will require staff to drive estate vehicles. Salary: 12.75 an hour Contract/duration: 13th November 2025 - 4th January 2026 Hours/working pattern: This is a zero-hours contract, meaning we can't guarantee a set number of hours each week. while we aim to provide a consistent work pattern, flexibility is needed as schedules may change based on business needs. We'll try to give as much notice as possible. The role includes weekend and bank holidays during our busy Christmas period and new year. For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role. What it's like to work here Reporting to the Welcome Manager, you’ll be part of a team of 22 staff working at Cliveden property/portfolio. As the face of our property, you will be providing a warm and friendly welcome, delivering exceptional service to our visitors, answering questions and sharing information about our site and the work the National Trust carries out. This role is a chance to really engage with and inspire our visitors, as well as grow support for the National Trust through Membership Recruitment & fundraising. You will help to deliver high standards of presentation at the property and ensure all our communications with our visitors are clear and consistent. The location is quiet, so you'll need your own transport to get here. What you'll be doing Day to day, you’ll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You’ll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can. You’ll have the chance to be involved in different aspects of the visitor experience, from key property events to social media promotion - no two days are the same.
