Experienced Family Law Associate

A highly respected, forward-thinking law firm is looking to add an experienced family law Associate to their team in Bristol, with a particular focus on private children and domestic abuse matters. What You'll Be Doing: Handling a caseload of both private and legal aid family matters, with a focus on children and domestic abuse cases Providing clear, commercially focused legal advice to clients, always ensuring high standards of service Taking an active role in business development and contributing to marketing initiatives Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and managing expectations Scoping fees for private clients and supporting in budgetary management of matters Supporting junior members of the team and assisting in their development Participating in networking events, client seminars, and raising the team's profile externally Contributing to firm-wide projects and cross-sector initiatives Requirements: Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with solid experience in family law, specifically in private law children and domestic abuse Experience managing a varied caseload independently, including legal aid and private files Strong interpersonal skills and a client-centric approach Commercial awareness and the ability to contribute to business growth Experience of mentoring or supporting junior Lawyers is an advantage Please contact Alice Tiller to discuss this role or any others that we are handling.
