Job Description

As a Traction Technician, you play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our transport systems. You will be responsible for maintaining our medium and low voltage installations, which power our vehicles through rectifier stations, overhead lines, and a third rail. Your tasks include switching operations and overhauls, preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshooting faults. You will work both indoors and outdoors across the Rotterdam region, in a 24/7 operation that includes irregular shifts, one on-call week, and one night shift week per month. Your efforts ensure that our metros, trams, and electric buses keep running smoothly. Wij bieden: - A salary of up to €3,890 gross per month, including allowances, based on 36 hours; - A one-year contract with the intention of permanent employment; - Free public transport in and around Rotterdam; - A life-course scheme of 1.5% per year; - A year-end bonus of 8.33%; - Holiday allowance of 8% per year; - A pension scheme with ABP, with 70% contribution by RET and 30% by you; - A signing bonus of up to €1,500 net. Wij vragen: - A completed MBO education in electrical engineering (at least level 3); - Extensive experience with medium and low voltage installations; - A category B driving licence.
