Manufacturing Engineer (Outside IR 35)

The Manufacturing Engineer manages and improves manufacturing processes using continuous improvement techniques to reduce costs, enhance quality, and support production updates. They provide technical support, oversee PFMEA updates to AIAG & VDA FMEA standards across multiple sites, manage production issues, and collaborate with teams to implement process changes while ensuring minimal impact on production delivery. Manufacturing Engineer Contract Outside IR35 Worcester Manufacturing Engineer Job Description Process Improvement & Optimisation – Manage and enhance manufacturing processes to reduce costs, improve quality, and support production updates. Technical Support – Provide engineering support to operations, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure minimal disruption to manufacturing. PFMEA Management – Update and implement PFMEA to AIAG & VDA FMEA standards across multiple sites. Project & Stakeholder Management – Lead process changes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and coordinate with customers and suppliers. Focus on NPI Manufacturing Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Qualified in a related engineering discipline to HNC/HND Level as a minimum Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing / launch engineering Strong understanding and knowledge of PFMEA and/or AIAG & VDA
