Corporate Commercial Solicitor Annual Salary: Competitive (based on experience) Location: Hertfordshire Job Type: Part-time (14.5 hours per week, 2 days) Reed Legal are recruiting for a part-time Corporate Commercial Solicitor to join their client who are a progressive and renowned firm of specialist solicitors in Hertfordshire. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a firm that values collaboration, professionalism, and personal service. This position is ideal for a solicitor with 5-6 years PQE in commercial contracts. Day-to-day of the role: Work alongside the company commercial partner and a team, handling a range of commercial matters. Develop relationships with new clients and actively engage in business development activities. Be involved in presenting seminars, writing articles and blogs, and networking within the business community, primarily in Hertfordshire and London. Meet with clients independently to take instructions and advise on matters. Contribute to the growth and development of the company and commercial offerings. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified and practising solicitor with 5-6 years PQE in commercial contracts. Strong academic record and a proven track record of achieving career, financial, and business development goals. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop trust with clients and colleagues. Experience in commercial contract work and a real interest in business development. Ability to handle a large volume of work, manage conflicting priorities, and maintain high levels of accuracy and care. Strong organisational skills and effective communication abilities. Well-developed IT skills, including Microsoft Office and integrated Case Management systems. Driving licence and access to own car; willingness to work long hours when necessary.
