Compensation Hourly Pay Rate: $86.49 Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,090 - $2,200 Cardiac Stepdown RN Job Details Location: Vineland, NJ 08360 (Southern New Jersey healthcare jobs) Unit: Cardiac Stepdown / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Contract Length: 6 weeks (potential for extension) Hours per Week: 36 (full-time nursing position) Shifts: Every other weekend required; holiday coverage (1 per contract) Start Date: November 10, 2025 Charting System: Cerner Scrub Color: Navy Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Step Down or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey or compact state (NJ nursing jobs) Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA required) Strong cardiac and telemetry nursing experience Willingness to float within specialty and to Elmer location as needed Ability to complete all orientation and training requirements Maximum of 3 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients, including trach care, bariatric care, nocturnal vents, and stroke care Manage patient ratios of 1:5 in Stepdown/PCU and 1:6 if floated to acute care Care for patients with peritoneal dialysis, stroke, and post-surgical needs Float to other units within specialty and to Elmer as needed Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Apply now to join our progressive care nursing team in Vineland, NJ and take the next step in your healthcare career!
