Travel MRI Tech - $2,950 to $3,000 per week in Wausau, WI

Job Title: MRI Technician Location: Wausau, WI Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: 5x8hr Mid Shifts (4:00 PM - 12:00 AM), Monday–Friday Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Rate Type: Contract Job Summary: Hiring for highly experienced MRI Technician for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in GE MRI systems (1.5T and 3T) and possess strong clinical experience in a hospital-based setting. This role includes potential float coverage to nearby locations and requires availability for on-call and weekend rotations. Responsibilities: Operate GE 1.5T and 3T MRI scanners. Perform high-quality imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols. Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures. Collaborate with radiologists and other care team members to ensure accurate imaging results. Properly document all procedures in the EPIC EMR system. Participate in on-call and weekend rotation as required. Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions. Required Qualifications: Certification: ARRT (MR), BLS Experience: Minimum 3 years MRI experience (4 years preferred). EMR Experience: EPIC (REQUIRED). Unit Experience: Must have hands-on experience with GE MRI equipment. Education: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field (required).
