Job Description Job Description Material Handler Location: Tualatin, OR Pay Range: $19 – $20 /hour Schedule: Front End Days – Sunday to Wednesday, 5:00 am – 3:30 pm Job Type: Temp-to-Hire – 2-Year Contract (Eligible for Permanent Hire After 6 Months) Are you looking for a steady role with growth potential, great pay, and a 4-day workweek ? PrideNow, the light industrial staffing division of Pride Global, is hiring Material Handlers to join a fast-paced, safety-first manufacturing environment. This role offers hands-on experience, training opportunities, and a clear path to permanent employment. What You’ll Be Doing: Review and process customer orders, stock, and distribute materials and products. Move materials to and from loading docks, trucks, storage areas, and production floors. Identify and label materials, updating SAP and inventory systems (IQMS, Cell Fusion). Perform cycle counts, create non-conformance reports, and close tasks in MFG applications. Prepare finished products for shipment, including pulling, packing, crating, and loading. Safely operate material handling equipment (forklifts, trucks, cranes, hoists). Complete pre-use inspections and report equipment issues. Follow all safety procedures, including PPE, Lockout Tagout (LOTO), and ergonomic lifting. Conduct risk management walkarounds (RMBWA) and escalate safety concerns. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing operations. MHE (Material Handling Equipment) training – forklift certification preferred. Ability to safely lift up to 35 pounds and follow ergonomic guidelines. Familiarity with SAP, IQMS, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PPT, OneNote). Strong organizational, time management, and data entry skills.
