Job Description
Job Title: Front of House Manager Location: Hermanus, Western Cape Contract: Full-time, Permanent Description: A renowned beachfront restaurant in Hermanus, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Manager to lead their service team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about guest experience, team leadership, and delivering excellence in a busy, high-standard environment. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all front of house operations to ensure smooth, efficient service Lead, train, and motivate the FOH team to deliver outstanding guest experiences Manage reservations, guest flow, and table allocations Handle guest feedback, resolve complaints, and maintain high satisfaction levels Liaise with kitchen and management to coordinate service Monitor service standards, cleanliness, and presentation Manage FOH scheduling, payroll, and stock control Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards Requirements: Minimum 3 years’ experience as a FOH Manager or similar role in an upmarket restaurant Proven leadership and staff management abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment Professional, reliable, and guest-focused Familiarity with POS and reservation systems Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required What We Offer: Permanent, full-time position in a beautiful location Opportunity to shape service standards and team culture Career growth in a well-established restaurant How to Apply: Please send your CV and a brief cover letter to info@ Apply Below .
