Accounts Assistant Lichfield £28,000 - £30,000 (6 Month Contract, Potential Permanent Opportunity) Company Profile This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a solid foundation in accounting while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive, fast-paced business environment, and to join a growing SME. You will be supporting day-to-day financial operations, providing essential administrative and accounting support to ensure accuracy and efficiency across all finance functions. What’s on offer? * 21 days holiday plus bank holidays * Staff discount * Free parking * Office based, full time What will you do as an Accounts Assistant ? * Process high volumes of purchase invoices, employee expenses and credit card transactions * Prepare and issue sales invoices; reconcile customer accounts * Daily bank postings and bank reconciliations * Assist with supplier payment runs * Maintain accurate records – digital and physical filing * Support the team with monthly journals, P&L, and balance sheet reconciliations What do you need as an Accounts Assistant? * Professional accounting qualification - AAT Foundation * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel (formulas & data entry) * Excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills * Good communication skills with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn Job ID: 10095
