Job Description

Minimum Requirements: Admitted Attorney and Conveyancer ±5 years proven experience as an Estates Manager or in a similar senior conveyancing/estate's role Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills Strong interpersonal abilities and the capacity to manage staff and clients effectively Thorough understanding of business processes , strategic planning , and workflow management Solid knowledge of market research methods and the ability to identify opportunities and problem areas early Proficient in conveyancing systems and related legal software Business acumen with a strong drive to grow the Estates Department and expand its client base Proven track record in lead generation and market intelligence sharing Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Estates Department, ensuring efficiency and compliance with firm standards Drive departmental growth through effective business development, client relationship management, and lead generation Scrutinize new contracts and proactively address any problematic matters in the workflow (WIP) Ensure accurate and timeous reporting , including weekly progress reports to agents, clients, and other stakeholders Manage and mentor team members, ensuring all assigned duties are performed accurately and efficiently Maintain high standards of document accuracy and completeness during client consultations Ensure adherence to internal systems , workflows, and turnaround times (TATs) Monitor departmental performance against monthly targets and report to senior management where necessary Consultant: Mekayla Swart - Dante Personnel Cape Town
