Financial Accountant

As the Financial Accountant, youll take ownership of end-to-end accounting, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and insight across a dynamic, multi-entity business. Youll collaborate closely with finance leadership and operations teams, helping translate data into smarter decisions and more efficient performance. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full accounting function up to trial balance, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Prepare monthly management reports, analysis, and variance commentary for leadership. Oversee reconciliations (bank, debtors, creditors, and intercompany) and resolve outstanding issues. Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes. Review and post journals, accruals, and adjustments. Drive process improvements and ensure financial systems operate efficiently. Partner with operations to align financial insights with business performance and cost control. Ensure adherence to VAT, tax, and statutory compliance requirements. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualification: BCom Accounting. CIMA (advantageous) Experience: 46 years in a financial accounting role within logistics or supply chain Systems: Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar).
