Interim Financial Accountant

HW Finance are currently looking for an Interim Financial Accountant to join a large, dynamic services business based in Leeds. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and enjoys getting involved in a wide variety of tasks. Interim Financial Accountant Location: Yorkshire (Hybrid) Length of contract: 6 Months Daily rate: £400 - £600 per day (Outside IR35) Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP, and other relevant accounting standards. Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits. Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting. Produce statutory accounts for multiple legal entities. Ensure statutory accounts are completed and filed within group reporting deadlines. Review balance sheets and implement improvements to financial controls. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures. Monitor and improve financial reporting systems and databases. About You: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong financial accounting and reporting experience. Good understanding of IFRS and experience applying these standards in complex, multi-entity environments. Comfortable working in a large, fast-changing organisation with diverse business interests.
