Job Title: Senior Catering Assistant Area: Wokingham, Berkshire Start Date: 16th October Contract Type: Permanent, Part-time Salary: £25,583 - £25,989 (pro rata) Working hours: Part-time About the school: A supportive primary and secondary academy with a strong community focus, committed to creating a positive environment for all pupils. About the role: You will oversee daily kitchen operations, support menu planning, maintain high standards of hygiene, and ensure meals meet dietary requirements. We're looking for a dedicated candidate to: Supervise catering staff and daily service Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety standards Support the preparation and serving of meals Manage stock levels and kitchen resourcesRequirements - The ideal candidate would have: Experience in a school or similar catering environment Knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety regulations Strong organisational and leadership skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Food hygiene certification desirableOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
