Job Description An opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for a Service Dispatch Officer to join our Transport Services Team on a permanent basis. NRS brings together a diverse range of Glasgow City Council operational, technical and development services that focus on sustainable transport, place making and delivering essential city services. Position Details This post is business critical to the day-to-day supervision and coordination of transport services, which supports Education and Social Work Departments, as well as other essential community services such as meal deliveries and library support. You will work in a team of 4 Dispatch Officers to provide necessary cover for service/work allocation for 130 ASL Drivers. There is also cover required for any leave, sickness absence or training requirements within the ASL dispatch team, to ensure business continuity and continued service. A current UK driving licence is an essential requirement for this role. Contract Details Weekly Hours: 35 Work Pattern: Monday - Friday Annual Salary: £30,492.03 - £34,929.32 on an incremental scale Additional Payments: In addition to the annual salary the role attracts an annual payment of £1,357 for non-standard work pattern/hours (NSWPH).
