Estimator – Construction Location: Abbotsford, BC Salary: $95,000 - 115,000 (depending on experience) ️ Industry: Construction About the Company Our client is a well-established construction company based in Abbotsford, known for their commitment to quality craftsmanship, integrity, and long-term client relationships. They work on a variety of commercial, industrial, and residential projects across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. About the Role We’re seeking an Estimator to join their growing team. This is a key position responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and supporting the project management team to ensure successful delivery from tender through to completion. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for construction projects based on drawings, specifications, and site conditions Review bid documents and identify potential risks or cost-saving opportunities Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations Collaborate with Project Managers and the leadership team during pre-construction and budgeting phases Maintain estimating databases and documentation Support the preparation of tender submissions and change orders Qualifications 3 years of experience in estimating within the construction industry (commercial, industrial, or civil preferred) Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and building processes Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar) and Microsoft Office Excellent attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Why Join Them?
