Project Manager

Location: Flexible within the UK Type: Contract Contract Length: 12 months Start date: November 2025 Overview: CMC are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee large-scale battery storage “turnkey” projects. The role involves managing contractors and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard-from design to commissioning. Key Responsibilities: Oversee procurement, construction, and commissioning of electrical energy projects Manage contractors, budgets, schedules, and site activities Ensure compliance with H&S standards and quality requirements Support tendering, permitting, and design coordination Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams Requirements: Proven experience managing commercial or industrial electrical projects Strong electrical engineering and H&S knowledge Relevant safety qualifications and familiarity with UK regulations Excellent organisational and communication skills Experience with DNOs, grid connections, or MV/HV systems is beneficial
