We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading FM and energy services provider that’s expanding across the North. They’re looking for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer (Plumber) to support five well-maintained commercial sites across York and Skipton. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take pride in their work, be trusted to make decisions on-site, and benefit from ongoing training and progression. ✅ The Role: * Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems * Diagnose and repair plumbing and heating issues in commercial buildings * Travel locally across five sites (all within manageable distance) * Take part in a 1-in-5 call-out rota (fair and well-supported) * Be the face of the service — trusted by both client and company Salary & Benefits: * £37,500 base salary * Regular overtime available * Company van & fuel card * 24 days annual leave 8 bank holidays (with the option to buy more) * Life assurance * Discounts with leading retailers, tech brands, and high street names * Gym membership and cycle-to-work scheme * 40-hour working week – no silly hours * Ongoing training and development What We’re Looking For: * NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds in plumbing, pipefitting or mechanical discipline * Experience working in commercial maintenance environments * A full UK driving licence Interested?
