Site Manager – Sewage Treatment Plant (9-Month Contract) Location: Oxford Duration: 9 Months Rate: ltd (DOE) ️ Start Date: ASAP About the Role: We’re seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead works on a sewage treatment plant project in Oxford. This is a 9-month contract working on a key Thames Water site, requiring strong leadership, safety focus, and experience managing utilities or water infrastructure projects. You’ll oversee daily site operations, ensuring health & safety compliance, quality delivery, and smooth coordination between trades, subcontractors, and the client. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day site activities and ensure all works are carried out safely and efficiently. Oversee subcontractors and ensure compliance with project specifications. Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental management. Liaise with clients, engineers, and project teams to ensure successful delivery. Report progress and manage site documentation. Requirements: ✅ SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and CSCS card – essential ✅ Thames Water Passport – essential ✅ Proven experience managing water or wastewater projects (e.g. treatment plants, pipelines, infrastructure). ✅ Strong understanding of CDM regulations and HSE best practices. ✅ Excellent communication and leadership skills. Face to Face interview requirement
