Travel MRI Tech - $2,349 per week in Columbia, SC

Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Experience is needed, strong pediatric skills preferred. License: Certified Rad Tech through ARRT. Certifications: ARRT MR, ARRT R, BLS. Must-Have: Previous experience with GE and Siemens equipment, 1.5T and 3T. Description: MRI Tech required for a 3x12 hour shift schedule. Work days are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. No call is required for this position. Candidates must have experience in MRI tech, particularly with pediatric patients. Inpatient and outpatient MRI for adults and pediatric patients of all ages, including neonates, stroke, and trauma patients. Previous experience in a pediatric healthcare setting is preferred. Candidates must be certified as a Radiologic Technologist through ARRT; ARMRIT certification will not be considered. Preference will be given to applicants with prior charge experience and those familiar with community hospitals. Experience with trauma level I and II facilities is preferred. Travel experience is required. The ability to use various imaging techniques, including but not limited to, abdomen, brain, pelvis, and ER/trauma imaging is essential. Candidates must have experience with preparing or administering contrast media and be proficient with image post-processing techniques. Floating to other units may be required based on staffing needs. All procedures must align with competencies demonstrated and documented. Modules for additional training are required prior to starting. Candidates must meet compliance criteria based on travel and distance requirements. This position involves working with patients across a wide age spectrum, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, and geriatrics. Daily patient census and visit volume may vary.
