Unit specifics: Number of beds: 2. Patient ratios: 1 patient. Documentation system: XPER. Scheduling requirements: Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 15:30; call from Monday 07:00 to following Monday 07:00. Floating policy in effect. Patient experience requirements must be met. Procedures performed on unit include: left and right heart catheterization, pacemakers, PCI, peripheral procedures, and minimal interventional radiology (ports, permcaths, cholecystostomy tubes). Uniform provided by the facility. Unit guidelines and policies are in place. Consider the experience of the staff, schedule options, and any new equipment or technology.
