TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Charleston, South Carolina, 29425! Pay Information $1,694 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum one year of experience preferred License: South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Experience with trauma is preferred No call required Description: This position involves working 3 nights a week, with a requirement of 4 weekend shifts during a 4-week schedule period. The patient ratios are 4-5:1 for medical-surgical level of care, dependent on staffing. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. There is no on-call requirement. Travelers should be open to floating within scope to meet facility needs. However, block scheduling may require manager approval. Local candidates are accepted within a 60-mile radius, with a reduction in rates for locals. Candidates with pending licenses will not be considered. Requests for time off need to be noted at the time of submission and must comply with the outlined guidelines. The facility is a Level I Trauma Center and a teaching facility. All registered nurses are required to wear solid royal blue scrubs or white tops with royal blue bottoms. There is a parking registration fee for the use of the designated parking garage, which allows for parking without additional fees in that location. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. If there are concerns about this requirement, travelers should refrain from confirming new assignments during this period.
