Bookkeeper

We are recruiting a full time or part time bookkeeper for a well-established construction company based in Wakefield. Key Responsibilities: Recording and reconciling invoices, payments, and bank transactions. Processing subcontractor invoices, CIS deductions and returns. Ensuring the correct application of VAT and the VAT Reverse scheme. Assisting with the preparation of quarterly VAT returns. Supporting payroll processes with the external provider. Assisting with financial reports. About the Role: Experience in bookkeeping or accounts. Knowledge of CIS, VAT, and payroll processes. Proficiency with Sage 50 and MS Excel. Detail-focused, organised, and confident working to deadlines.
