Head of Financial Planning & Analysis

Robert Half are supporting a leading charity in the search for an experienced Head of Financial Planning & Analysis on a 12-month maternity cover contract. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial insight to support strategic decision-making. It requires strong leadership, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver clear, data-driven analysis within a complex organisation. 12 Months Fixed Term Contract Salary: Up to £66,950 Start Date: ASAP Location: Central, Bristol Hybrid: Two days a week in the office You will be responsible for: Lead on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting Provide strategic analysis and insight to senior leadership Manage and develop a small FP&A team Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to drive informed decisions Oversee monthly management reporting and long-term financial modelling Ensure robust financial controls and compliance with charity regulations Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and the Board Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights Support delivery of the organisation's strategic and operational goal Required experience/background: Qualified Accountant or QBE with senior finance and FP&A experience Strong track record in managing and delivering budgets, forecasts, and monthly reporting Proven ability to identify, drive, and manage change within a Finance function Excellent management and leadership skills High attention to detail and accuracy Skilled at prioritising conflicting demands and managing stakeholder expectations For more information on this role, apply online or contact Lewis Young on 0117 993 5400.
