Interior Fit-Out Estimator

About the Company: Our client is a well-established, interior refurbishment and fit-out specialist. The Role: We are seeking an experienced Interior Fit-Out Estimator to join the team on a freelance basis. You will prepare accurate estimates for a variety of interior projects, supporting the team in planning, budgeting, and delivering projects efficiently. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare detailed estimates for interior fit-out and refurbishment projects, including partitions, glazed partitions, floors, skirting, doors, and T-points. * Review drawings and specifications to accurately quantify materials, labour, and subcontractor costs. * Calculate installation costs for timber, metal stud, drywall, and modular partition systems. * Estimate costs for glass panels, frames, and installation of glazed partitions. * Prepare flooring estimates including subfloor preparation, materials, and installation labour. * Cost skirting and door installations, including frames, hardware, and finishes. * Estimate suspended ceiling grid junctions (“T-points”) and other modular system connection points. * Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and ensure cost-efficient delivery. * Produce comprehensive cost reports to support project planning, bids, and commercial decision-making. * Assist the team in commercial planning and budgeting decisions to help projects run efficiently and profitably. About You: * Proven experience as an estimator in interior fit-out, refurbishment, or commercial fit-out projects. * Strong knowledge of partitions, glazed partitions, flooring, skirting, doors, and T-points. * Comfortable working in a small, collaborative, company-run team. * Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to work to deadlines. * Confident in reviewing drawings and translating them into accurate costings.
