The Role Top-of-funnel, new business focused SDR with career progression opportunities and uncapped earnings. Market coverage: Target UK mid-market and selected enterprise segments for Managed Services (e.g., EUC/Service Desk, Cloud & Hosting, Networking, Security). Sales Process Ownership: Focus on opportunity creation: Initiate account/campaign planning with outreach, execute outbound and lead generation, run discovery and qualification, then secure and hand over high-quality opportunities consistently Meet or Exceed monthly KPI targets, building great sales pipeline in the process Core Responsibilities Business Development & Pipeline Creation - Build and work target account/ICP lists; personalise outreach using phone, email, LinkedIn and sequences; deliver consistent, high-quality outbound activity to generate first meetings and SQOs; collaborate with Marketing, vendors and alliances on campaigns; support events and timely follow-up. Lead Management & Qualification - Respond to inbound leads within SLA; run concise discovery to confirm need, timing, stakeholders and next step; qualify using industry standard methodologies, create opportunities in CRM, and agree mutual next steps. Nurture long term leads in collaboration with marketing Meeting Setting, - Book meetings for AEs with the right stakeholders; prepare briefing notes (pain points, goals, context); progress qualified leads to Sales qualified opportunity stage in CRM and hand over to AEs with clear notes and commitments; Continue light-touch coordination until AE takes full ownership and collaborate/participate in these sales process activities as required. Additional Responsibilities Forecast weekly: meetings and opportunities created with dates, account, contacts and next steps. Maintain 100% CRM hygiene and update activities regularly; support other business processes that enable sales and client activity. Curate and maintain personal prospect lists using own initiative, research and data tools available Adhere to approval processes and deal desk policies where applicable to SDR scope. Participate in sales activity days, vendor sessions and team meetings; uphold company policies and code of conduct. Collaborate with vendors sales and marketing departments on joint campaign and lead development Required Experience & Skills We are seeking early-career sales professionals in networking, cyber security, and telecoms (MSP/reseller/vendor) with a passion for new business development and evidence of over-performance in their current role. Needs to be a self-starter whom can take responsibility and whom possesses an appetite for rapid sales career progression Important behaviours: hunter mindset with a structured approach to sales and time management, disciplined in outreach activity and follow-through, resilient, coachable, ethical, able to build trust with colleagues, customers and prospects. A strong belief and preference for the phone as the most effective lead generation method. Experience Required Proven SDR/BDR record generating meetings and sales opportunities for IT managed services or solutions in a similar market High-volume, high-quality outbound execution and used to self-managing performance of outbound KPI metrics including of telephone calls, total call duration and appointments set Capable of initial opportunity discovery/qualification through to AE handover. Ability to work independently, using initiative for micro-campaigns and event follow-up. Creativity required in approach to differentiate Confident discussing services and value drivers; understands how business challenges can create sales need Experienced CRM user (Dynamics or Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesloft). Strong written skills for concise outreach and briefing notes; confident verbal communicator for phone/video prospecting and small group presentations. Compensation & Benefits Base salary: Highly competitive (market-aligned for UK MSP SDRs). Variable compensation: OTE with accelerators; paid on accepted first meetings and qualified Sales opportunities created, and pipeline contribution (as defined in the Commission Plan). .
