Job Title: Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology Tech Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience required License: State license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT Must-Have: Previous experience in cath lab and interventional radiology Description: Cath Lab/IR Tech position available for 10-hour day shifts. Candidates will undergo a nicotine drug screen, and positive results will lead to automatic cancellation. This role involves a caseload ratio of 8-12 cases. Weekend call is required, with one full weekend per month. On-call responsibilities include responding within 30 minutes of activation, with 2-hour call back guarantee. Strong experience in angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, ICD insertion, pacemaker insertion, and maintaining sterile fields is essential. Candidates must also be able to work in interventional radiology. Neuro intervention experience is preferred. Interdisciplinary support is provided for patient care. This role will involve working with adult and geriatric patient age groups. The facility operates elective catheters, both diagnostic and interventional, as well as STEMI, IABP, and pacemakers. Candidates should have experience with charting systems. The ability to float within the hospital or to an affiliate location may be required. A strict no-tobacco policy is enforced.
