Position Direct hire for a Piping Engineer in a client EPC in the oil and gas sector. Responsibilities Coordinate piping engineering activities across disciplines (process, mechanical, civil, etc.). Act as main technical interface with clients, ensuring alignment with design and project requirements. Manage and supervise engineering subcontractors, guaranteeing quality and on-time delivery. Review and validate P&ID, piping layouts, isometric drawings, and material specifications. Ensure compliance with international standards and project specifications (e.g., ASME, API, ANSI). Support procurement and construction teams with technical documentation and clarifications. Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and site visits as required. Contribute to project schedule preparation and progress reporting. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum 5 years of piping engineering experience, ideally in oil & gas projects. Familiarity with piping design tools, 3D modeling software (AVEVA E3D), and navigation tools (Autodesk Navisworks). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Autodesk AutoCAD (or similar). Good command of English and excellent command of Italian. Willingness to travel abroad.
