Your New Role: You’ll be leading and managing a variety of residential projects, helping to restore properties that have been damaged by insured events like fire, flood, or structural issues. Project values typically range from £50k to £5m. Depending on the size and complexity, you might work independently or alongside a small team of Quantity Surveyors, CAD technicians, and engineers. Your day-to-day will include: Writing clear technical reports Diagnosing building defects Preparing Schedules of Works Managing contracts and overseeing repairs Supporting clients who may be going through difficult times You’ll need to juggle multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and make confident decisions under pressure. It’s a role that requires empathy, professionalism, and a strong technical foundation.
