About the Role As an Estimator at Had-Fab, you’ll play a key role in converting customer enquiries into successful business proposals. Working as part of a close-knit team led by the Commercial Manager, you’ll prepare competitive quotes, liaise with suppliers and customers, and ensure all tenders are accurate, timely, and commercially sound. Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit tender bids using drawings, specifications, and client data. Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide value-added solutions. Source pricing from suppliers and contractors to ensure competitive, high-quality proposals. Coordinate and maintain all documentation throughout the bid process. Maximise value while controlling costs and delivery timelines. Prepare quotation letters and clarifications where required. Work collaboratively with internal teams including Engineering, Procurement, Planning, and Production. Contribute to continuous improvement within the estimating function. What We’re Looking For Strong technical understanding of fabrication processes and customer specifications. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and ideally ERP systems. Excellent commercial awareness and cost-modelling skills. Confident communicator with a collaborative mindset and a drive to deliver results. Previous experience in a steel fabrication, engineering, or construction environment preferred. Why Join Had-Fab?
