Materials Management Technician

.Description Hitachi Rail is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Materials Management Technician who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable performing a wide range of tasks, from administration to strategy. The position is based in Naples, Italy.· Coordinate all planning and logistics activities between legal entities involved in the project to ensure delivery of project materials (including spare parts and repair of failed materials) in line with project requirements.· Ensure issuance of supplier logistics and supply planning documentation in line with contractual requirements (Performance Guarantee, Transport Plan, Procurement Plan, Manufacturing Plan, etc.).· Monitor and report supplier performance (including logistics suppliers) in terms of production, FAT, delivery times, shipping, warehouse management, and compliance with contractual requirements.· Minimum experience in Supply Chain· Technical and technological knowledge· Knowledge of organisation and business processes· English language proficiency: minimum B2 levelOur people love technology – and they love making a difference.
