Application Engineer – CNC Programming

Our client is a leading multinational manufacturer of high-precision machine tools, with a strong international presence and currently expanding in Sicily. We are looking for a technical team member: Application Engineer – CNC Programming Ref. 16/25 The candidate will be responsible for programming and configuring machine tools, developing CAD/CAM programs, optimizing process parameters, and providing technical support for customers and international trade fairs. Main activities: programming and optimizing customer parts on CNC machines (milling, molds, precision components) using Heidenhain, Siemens (Sinumerik), FANUC, and Mitsubishi controls; developing demonstration programs, configuring tools and clamping devices, and optimizing CNC parameters; pre-acceptance and acceptance of machines at the branch and at customers’ premises, with related training; collaborating with the sales team and providing support during demonstrations in showrooms and at national/international trade fairs. Requirements: Technical diploma or degree in mechanical engineering or similar; relevant professional experience in milling technology and tools/molds; in-depth knowledge of CAD/CAM and CNC programming with Heidenhain, Siemens, FANUC, and Mitsubishi controls. The profile is completed by excellent communication skills, teamwork aptitude, high flexibility, and willingness to travel, together with a good knowledge of English and MS Office.
