Overview On behalf of a prestigious multinational company, one of the leaders in the machine tool sector, in a phase of growth and expansion of its Service staff, we are looking for Field Service Engineers – Mechanical ( 16/25 ) Responsibilities Repair and mechanical maintenance work on CNC machines (lathes, machining centres) at customers located in the relevant geographical area Replacement of faulty/worn components (ball screws, guides, …) and management of spare parts Spindle line overhaul, spindle replacement if necessary Troubleshooting tool change Setting and adjusting machine geometries Performing mechanical alignments Requirements The ideal candidate has a diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent. He/she must have significant experience in the maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting of CNC cutting machines (lathes, machining centres, milling/boring machines), and related automated production processes, preferably at machine tool manufacturers, importers/dealers, or technical assistance companies. People with maintenance experience within manufacturing companies, interested in service work, will also be considered. In addition to a solid technical background, knowledge and consolidated operational experience on Heidenhain/Siemens controls is appreciated, but profiles with knowledge of other controls (Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Fagor, Mazatrol, …) will also be evaluated. Good customer orientation and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships will be required. A high predisposition to work autonomously in the field/on the move completes the profile.
