Job Description

Robert Half is seeking a Change & Risk Management Specialist for a Hamilton client. The successful consultant will drive successful organizational transformations and the seamless adoption of new technology solutions. This critical role combines expertise in change management and risk mitigation with a strong ability to engage stakeholders, assess business impacts, and foster alignment across technical and non-technical teams. This is a 6 month engagement, with a hybrid working arrangement, 2 days in office. Key Responsibilities:Conduct stakeholder analysis to identify key influencers, role dynamics, and potential organizational constraints.Establish and maintain communication channels to share updates, manage expectations, and solicit input.Draft clear, professional corporate communications designed to inform and align employees and leadership on change initiatives.Perform change impact assessments to analyze how new processes or technologies affect business units and end users.Develop tailored resistance management strategies to address adoption challenges and accelerate change acceptance.Design and deliver training programs, including workshops and awareness sessions, to support end-user adoption.Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA) to assess critical business processes, identify dependencies, and evaluate potential risk exposures.Partner with IT, risk management, and project teams to integrate risk mitigation strategies and compliance measures into change programs.Track adoption metrics and provide detailed progress reports to leadership and stakeholders.Continuously assess outcomes and recommend adjustments to change strategies where needed.Capture lessons learned and develop a repository of best practices to enhance future change and risk management initiatives.Qualifications & Skills:8 years of experience in change management, risk management, or organizational transformation projects.Demonstrated understanding of change management frameworks like Prosci/ADKAR and risk management methodologies.Experience conducting Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and supporting risk assessments, especially in technology-driven projects.Proven ability to tailor communications and training materials for audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.Strong facilitation and relationship management skills, with excellent collaboration across all organizational levels.Analytical and problem-solving abilities to translate complex insights into actionable plans.Certifications such as Prosci Change Management Certification, PMP, CISM, CRISC, or CCMP are highly desirable.Experience in regulated environments or the public sector is a significant advantage.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
