Site Engineer

Kenton Black are recruiting for a permanent Site Engineer role in Aberdeen. Our client, a well-established civil engineering and residential contractor with a strong footprint across Scotland, is seeking to appoint a Site Engineer to support ongoing substructure, roadworks, and housing developments throughout Aberdeen, Angus, and Dundee. Key Responsibilities: -Set out and survey groundworks, drainage, and road infrastructure - Ensure accurate interpretation of technical drawings and specifications - Monitor and report on site progress, ensuring compliance with design and safety standards - Liaise with site managers, subcontractors, and design teams to resolve engineering issues - Maintain site records including QA documentation, as-built drawings, and daily logs - Assist in managing materials, plant, and labour to meet programme targets - Support the delivery of residential plots from foundation to completion What You Bring: - Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil and residential projects -Strong understanding of substructure, roads, and groundworks engineering - Proficiency in setting out using GPS and total station equipment - HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across teams - Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across project locations Why This Role?
