The role Join a national Construction & Engineering team that advises on all aspects of the construction process, focusing on non-contentious work. Work on drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of documents, including JCT, NEC and MF/1 contracts, consultant appointments, warranties, bonds, guarantees, development and funding agreements, agreements for lease, novation agreements and other project documentation. Collaborate with a team of over 25 specialists who advise on both the front-end and dispute aspects of projects, ensuring clients receive rounded, practical support. Be part of a team in growth mode, with the flexibility to tailor responsibilities to your experience level — from Associate through to Managing Associate. Contribute to major national projects, working with well-known names in the construction and engineering industry. You Qualified solicitor with around 2–10 years’ PQE, ideally with experience gained at a recognised construction practice. Strong background in non-contentious construction work, or a mix of advisory and contentious matters with an interest in specialising on the front end. Excellent understanding of the construction industry, commercial drivers, and project risk management. Confident in managing workload, time recording, billing and achieving financial targets. A self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, professional approach. Technically proficient with case-management systems and Microsoft Office.
