The role involves: Representing clients from first contact through to trial Advocacy in the Magistrates' Court and police station representation Conducting your own trials where appropriate Managing your own caseload with autonomy but support on hand Handling both legal aid and private-funded matters You Applications are welcomed from: Qualified Duty Solicitors of any PQE Confident advocates with experience running a mixed criminal defence caseload Comfortable working independently in police stations, Magistrates' Courts and acting as litigator on Crown Court matters Passionate about access to justice and public funding work Salary & Benefits Salary is dependent on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package and a tailored working arrangement available for the right candidate.
