Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist Specialty: CT Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Thursday - Saturday Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: BLS Must-Have: - Competency in CT procedures, protocols, and techniques. - Knowledge of general anatomy, technical factors, and CT imaging fundamentals. - Proficiency with PACS and basic computer skills. Description: Prepare patients for examination. Position patients based on physician orders. Operate Computed Tomography (CT) equipment and accessories. Produce quality images as directed by physicians and radiologists for the diagnosis or treatment of anatomic or physiologic disorders. Demonstrate knowledge of radiation protection and safety for all patient populations. Provide patient care and safety. Work independently performing CT and X-ray procedures. Operate CT equipment, fluoroscopy, and power injectors to demonstrate anatomical or physiologic disorders. Required skills include X-ray and CT proficiency. Equipment experience with Philips X-ray unit and GE CT unit is necessary.
