Travel Surgical Tech - $1,886 per week in Bismarck, ND

Job Title: Surgical Technician Profession: Surgical Tech Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days with Call Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), UAP Must-Have: 1 year of experience in either Ortho/Neuro or General/Robotics. Experience with Open bellies and GYN procedures. Experience with Davinci XI for General and GYN procedures. Experience with Endoscopy. Description: The position requires proficiency in either Orthopedic/Neurosurgery or General/Robotics procedures. The operating room consists of 12 surgical suites and includes Endoscopy and Cystoscopy suites. Common cases include pediatric to geriatric procedures, robotic surgeries, open abdominal surgeries, and gastrointestinal procedures. Candidates should be familiar with ION Robotics, Davinci XI, and Stryker towers. The department fosters a family atmosphere and teamwork is essential. A Charge Nurse is available for all shifts, ensuring support and leadership. Rotating shifts are required, with specific call requirements on weekends and weekdays. Candidates must be willing to float to other specialty cases as needed. Additional training will be provided for floating to the floor as a one-on-one sitter. Must be willing to work holidays and respond to calls in a timely manner. A sleep room is available for post-call shifts. Call response time is 15 minutes. Additional shifts may be available based on low case volume.
