Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech - $2,454 per week in Bryan, TX

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Duration: 12 Weeks Shift: 8H Days, 8-hour rotating shift (usually starts 0700) Hours per Shift: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, Certified Nuclear Cardiology Technologist (NMTCB-NCT), Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT (N)) Must-Have: IV starts Description: Candidates may not have been directly employed by any facility associated with the organization within the past year. Candidates who were employed through outside firms will be considered. The position requires first to float between two campuses as needed. Call outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination. The department performs various imaging studies including cardiac, HIDA, bone scans, gastric emptying, GI bleeds, lung scans, brain death evaluations, and DAT scans. The average number of scans/studies performed per day is 12, with 2 being cardiac. The department has 1 scanner currently in use and is replacing another, aiming for a total of 2. Radiologists are in-house until 5 PM and are remotely available until midnight. IV starts are a requirement for this position. Weekend and holiday requirements are applicable. Call or standby requirements are included. Scrubs are provided in black. The department uses the Meditech and Fuji Synapse PACS systems. The department does not have Registered Radiology Assistants. A department-specific orientation will be conducted. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
