Start date: As listed in the job posting. Schedule: Monday to Friday, with weekend and holiday rotations required. Must be willing to work in all areas that are needed. A minimum of 2 years of central sterile processing experience is required. CRSCT or CBSPD certification is required. CIS certification is preferred. Must have the skill set and ability to provide quality service and be highly productive. Responsibilities include the assembly of surgical instrument trays and case carts according to pick sheets accurately and completely. Proficient use of an instrument tracking system is required, with Censitrac experience preferred. Must be proficient with instrumentation for various service lines including Orthopedics, Podiatry, General (including laparoscopic instrumentation), Neuro, GYN, Urology, Plastics, ENT, Robotics, Ophthalmology, and Cardiac. Decontamination of soiled or used supplies and equipment is required. Must be proficient with steam and low-temperature sterilization. Perform necessary quality monitoring of equipment, instruments, and supplies. Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service while managing the dispatch phone with supervision. Pick up used equipment and supplies from nursing units as needed. Perform the required quality monitoring of equipment, instruments, and supplies for cleaning and decontamination. Vaccine information: The flu vaccine is required during flu season. Medical or religious exemptions for the flu vaccine may be reviewed with supporting documentation.
