Job Description
E/E Vehicle Architect – Defense Industry Brain Technologies is searching for an E/E Vehicle Architect – Military Ground Systems to join our Engineering Division supporting system integration activities for military ground vehicles. The role involves defining, coordinating, and validating the electrical and electronic (E/E) architecture across the vehicle platform, ensuring compliance with system, safety, and defense standards. Key Responsibilities Define and maintain the vehicle-level E/E architecture, including power distribution, communication networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, 1553), and control systems. Coordinate the integration of subsystems (sensors, actuators, weapon systems, mission computers, HMI, etc.) ensuring compatibility and functional safety. Develop and manage system schematics, harness concepts, and electrical load analysis in collaboration with design and manufacturing teams. Support requirements analysis, interface definition, and system validation activities across mechanical, software, and electronic domains. Contribute to the definition of standards, design rules, and component selection for vehicle E/E systems. Interface with OEMs, suppliers, and defense authorities to ensure compliance with MIL-STD, DEF-STAN, and ISO 26262-derived methodologies. Support configuration management, change requests, and documentation for design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR). Requirements MSc or BSc in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent). At least 3 years of experience in E/E system architecture, ideally in defense, heavy‑duty, or automotive domains. Proven knowledge of vehicle electrical architectures, wiring systems, and communication protocols. Familiarity with power distribution, EMI/EMC design principles, and safety‑critical systems. Nice to Have Experience with hybrid/electric propulsion, mission systems, or C4ISR integration. Knowledge of model‑based systems engineering (MBSE) tools (e.g., Cameo, Capella).
