Job Description

COO & Co-Founder @ Hashlist | Defence.Works As a Platform Services Design & Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing base-level software layers for high-performance ECUs and SoCs. You will configure and develop middleware (such as AUTOSAR), design and implement software architecture (SysML and ARXML), and integrate functional safety principles into platform software. The role requires a deep understanding of safety‑critical embedded systems and a passion for state‑of‑the‑art compute platforms. Contract type: Permanent (employee) or Freelance (B2B) Responsibilities Design and develop base-level software layers for high-performance ECUs (SoC & ECU). Integrate functional safety principles into embedded software architecture. Configure and develop middleware architectures including Classic and Adaptive AUTOSAR. Design and implement software architecture models using SysML and ARXML. Translate signal-based design concepts into service-oriented architecture. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless system integration. Generate software design documentation and architecture flow diagrams. Qualifications 7 years of experience in the design and development of embedded software (preferably automotive). Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages. Strong background in UML‑based software design. Experience with Classic and Adaptive AUTOSAR middleware architectures, specifications, and configuration tools. Solid understanding of software architecture principles and requirements generation. Knowledge of Ethernet communication protocols. Experience with SysML, ARXML, and model‑based design environments. Familiarity with build systems such as CMake or Bazel. Experience with version control and collaboration tools such as GitHub. Proficiency with development tools such as Rhapsody (or similar), DaVinci Adaptive, and CANoe. Strong documentation skills in software architecture and design flow creation. Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities. Preferred Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Experience in automotive Body, ADAS/AD, or Infotainment domains. Proven ability to perform in fast‑paced, dynamic environments.
