Travel Nurse Job Details Location: Bismarck, North Dakota (58501) – North Dakota nursing jobs Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN) Start Date: November 17, 2025 End Date: February 16, 2026 Duration: 13-week contract Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (nights with some days); every other weekend and holiday required Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week Estimated Weekly Salary: $2240 - $2400 per week Unit Size: 19 beds Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:1 or 1:2 for Labor & Delivery, 1:3 for mom/baby couplets, 4 for gyns, combination up to 1:5-6 Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs for gyn and mom/baby care; hospital-provided scrubs for L&D Orientation: 8 hours for travel nurses Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 3 years of recent experience as a Labor & Delivery RN, Postpartum Nurse, or Gyn Nurse Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – North Dakota or compact state Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP (STABLE preferred but not required) Proficiency with fetal monitoring and OBIX documentation systems Willingness to float to Newborn Nursery and NICU as needed Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Must not have a permanent address within 80 miles of Bismarck, ND Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients, including high-risk obstetric cases Provide postpartum care for mothers and newborns Care for Gyn surgical post-op patients Operate fetal monitors, suction, oxygen, and vital sign monitors Document patient care using OBIX and EPIC electronic health record systems Float as needed to Newborn Nursery and NICU to support clinical teams Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care Adhere to hospital policies, including badge in/out procedures and dress code Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse in Bismarck, North Dakota, and make a meaningful impact in women's health!
