Job Description

For our client, cross‑countries company leader in the education system for both private and public sectors, we are looking for an: IT Specialist Responsibilities Serve as the primary IT point of contact for Italy, coordinating day‑to‑day IT operations and projects. Ensure compliance with corporate IT standards, security policies, and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR). Coordinate the rollout and maintenance of hardware, software, and network infrastructure. Provide hands‑on support and troubleshooting for end users, escalating complex issues as needed. Collaborate with the Corporate IT team to support enterprise platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure, Blackboard LMS, Classlife SIS, Business Central ERP…). Manage local IT vendors, service contracts, and coordinate third‑party support. Support onboarding/offboarding processes, asset management, and inventory control. Facilitate training and IT awareness sessions for regional staff. Assist in implementing and tracking regional IT budgets and procurement. Qualifications 4 years of IT experience, preferably in a multi‑site or international environment. Solid knowledge of Microsoft technologies (M365, Azure AD…), networking basics, and endpoint management. Experience with user support, service desk operations, and vendor coordination. Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and across teams. Fluent in English. Preferred Skills Experience in the education sector or similar service‑based environments. Exposure to cloud‑based systems and SaaS environments. Understanding of data privacy and Italy compliance.
