Service Care Solutions is currently working with a Local Authority in Northamptonshire who are seeking an experienced SEN / Education Lawyer to join their friendly and supportive legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and capable legal professional to take on a rewarding role providing specialist advice and representation in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Education Law matters. Role: Education Lawyer Location: Northamptonshire - Remote (occasional tribunal hearings as required) Umbrella Rate: £55 to £60ph PAYE Inc. Rate: £48.44 to £52.79ph Contract: 3 months initially – ongoing assignment Key Responsibilities: Handling a full caseload of SEN and Education Law. Providing clear, pragmatic legal advice to the Council and internal stakeholders. Preparing and conducting SEND Tribunal hearings and case management. Working collaboratively with education and social care colleagues to achieve positive outcomes.Requirements: Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive. Demonstrable experience in SEN and Education Law within local government or a similar setting. Confident advocacy skills and experience representing clients in Tribunal hearings.Benefits: Hybrid working. Weekly pay – rate offered will depend on experience and interview performance.
