Job Description Health and Social Care Teacher Full-Time (KS4 only) Location: Camden, North West London Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-time, initially until Christmas (long-term absence cover) Pay: Paid to scale – M1 to M6 Inner London (£206.75 – £268.20 per day, PAYE) Zest Education is working in partnership with a secondary school in Camden to recruit a qualified Health and Social Care Teacher to join their team. This role is ideal for a teacher looking to work at an excellent school in NW London, teaching KS4 only. The Role: * Teaching Health and Social Care at KS4. * Covering a long-term staff absence, with an initial placement until Christmas. * Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that meet the needs of all learners. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: * QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or QTLS. * Experience teaching Health and Social Care at KS4. * Strong classroom management skills. * A proactive, professional attitude and commitment to student success. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
