Early Years Teaching Assistant – Newark Start making a real difference today! We’re looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant (TA) who is nurturing, enthusiastic, and committed to giving every child the best start in life. In this rewarding role, you’ll work alongside experienced educators to support learning through play, encourage emotional and social development, and help children build strong foundations for the future. A successful Early Years Teaching Assistant will have: A warm, patient and caring personality A genuine interest in early childhood development Experience supporting children in EYFS, either 1:1 or in small groups A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection What We’re Looking For: 6 months experience working with children or young people, ideally in an Early Years setting Confidence supporting children with SEN/SEND needs A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Early Years A passion for play-based learning and child-centred approaches A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable, due to the location of some settings All applicants will be contacted to discuss suitability and then invited to register with TeacherActive.
