Quantity Surveyor Bury £55,000 - £60,000 Package We are currently working with a leading construction company based in Bury, delivering high-quality public building projects up to £15 million, and they are looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The Role: This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor who wants to work on public sector projects, managing costs from tender stage through to project completion. You’ll be responsible for: * Preparing and managing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation * Monitoring project budgets, cash flow, and cost reporting * Valuing contractor applications and managing variations * Liaising with clients, contractors, and design teams * Supporting risk management and contractual compliance Requirements: * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector, ideally on public/council projects * Strong knowledge of contract administration, cost control, and procurement processes * Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills * Relevant professional qualification (RICS, CIOB, or equivalent) preferred Why Apply: * Work on exciting council projects up to £15m * Supportive, professional environment * Career development opportunities * Competitive salary and benefits
